Working closely with Angus MacDougall, DHL’s leading Implementation & Project Manager, MaximITy developed a comprehensive Management Information tool that analyses the throughput of parcels from infeed bays highlighting bottlenecks, line efficiencies, ongoing parcel movements and location volume profiles.
The system was developed and implemented in a matter of weeks using MS Access to collect and analyse data already being captured by DHL. The result is that DHL are able to identify on a daily basis potential volume increase opportunities, profile the speed of offloading lorries, analyse national load volumes and profile parcel movements.
